Homeschooling is still a hotly contested issue, with great arguments from both camps explaining the pro’s and con’s of it, but it is worth noting that more people than you would imagine have emerged from homeschooling study to become world changes, celebrities and more.

We’ve narrowed down the Top 21 list of well known inventors, leaders and celebrities who were home schooled at one point or another. It is worth noting that some of these in the list were home schooled as a consequence of early successes in their chosen career, such as Emma Watson, who required home schooling whilst completing filming during the Harry Potter series.

    – (b. 1990) English actress and model. She was home schooled during the period in which the Harry Potter movies were filmed.

    – (b. 1856), 28th President of the United States, home schooled by his father.
